A group for those who see themselves as hares who prefer to sleep in the sun, or determined tortoises.

Meet at Palmerston's statue, Romsey

at 10am on 1^st  Saturday of each month.

The group will be led at an average of 10 mph on flattish  terrain with hills ridden at each individual's own pace or walked if necessary.

All Hares and Tortoises are welcome to attend the Southampton Section weekly social on Tuesdays, Chilworth Community Centre from 8-10pm Rides on Saturday unless indicated.

SPECIALS : August 2nd car / train assisted ride from Salisbury, leaves London Road (A30) park'n'ride (near cemetery) at 10.00am. This is more challenging than usual H&T rides as we will cover just over 40 miles which includes some steep hills. Lunch is at Fovant and return to Salisbury via Longford Castle.
